Hyderabad, February 03: Rabiul-Awal is a month which is dear to all the Muslims of the world. It is attributed to the birth of Prophet Mohammed(SAWS). It gives us an oppurtunity to express our gratitude and affection towards our Prophet(SAWS).
The name of prophet Mohammed(SAWS) is enough for us to shed tears. Whenever a Muslim hears the name of the Prophet(SAWS) he sends parayer and salam to him as a token of affection and devotion for him. When his name commands reverence and devotion in our hearts, any wrong act spoils all our good deeds. Allah also warns us that we should not raise our voice louder than prophet Mohammed(SAWS).
It has been observed that in order to express our joy,we exceed the moral limits and commit such acts which could be termed as immoral. The way the birthday of our Prophet(SAWS) is being celebrated, we are exaggerating it because there is no control of our ulema on such functions. Many Muslim youths dance on the tunes of music. They fix flags and the models of Kaaba on the roads. These flags fall down which is sinful.
The birthday of the Prophet(SAWS) could be celebrated within limits of Sharia and we can express our love and devotion for our Prophet(PBUH) in a nice way by offering Darood and salam to him and not by playing music records and singing songs.
Muslim youths are requested not to resort to such immoral and unlawful activities on the occassion of Eid Miladunnabi(SAWS).
