Jammu, January 20: To prevent any untoward incident during the Republic Day celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir, the Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda reviewed security measures and directed officers to maintain close vigil on the activities of the elements inimical to peace in the state.
“All officers should maintain close vigil on the activities of the elements inimical to peace and for firm dealing with elements who may try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the state,” DGP said while chairing a high level security meeting.
The meeting was attended by senior police, intelligence, Para-military and civil officers.
The meeting took stock of the arrangements made in connection with the Republic Day celebrations at Jammu and other parts of the state.
