Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Sunday said that the honeymoon and grace period of TRS Government in Telangana is over.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Ponguleti said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has completed five months in power on Sunday. Therefore, he could not be given any concessions for his failures. He alleged that KCR has failed to perform during the last five months and the situation has turned from bad to worse. While nearly 280 farmers committed suicides, the Telangana Government lost several important cases in different courts.
Stating that KCR came to power on the promise of making a Dalit CM, he humiliated all Dalits by insulting a Dalit CM Dr T Rajaiah in public. KCR even insulted Telangana’s martyrs, he alleged. Referring to one day power holiday for industries, Ponguleti said people would send KCR and his party on a permanent holiday if they fail to perform. (INN)
