It was quite shocking to see Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao making policy decisions involving thousands of crores of State exchequer at a party plenary, instead of at a cabinet meeting, BJP Spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao, has stated here.
In a statement here today, the BJP Spokesperson stated that Telangana State was being misgoverned. CM KCR’s governance model is undemocratic and nothing seems to function through established best practices or a governance system. Extreme ad hocism and popular politics are at display on a daily basis in Telangana State. KCR’s TRS party plenary speech looked more like a campaign speech before elections with lofty, unrealistic promises aimed at the electorate. These lofty promises clearly don’t have any planning, fund allocation or policy guidelines to implement, he added.
“The BJP feels, instead of providing temporary succor and relief to distressed farmers in the State and finding functional solutions to their issues; the Chief Minister was making more empty promises for the next financial year. Even after three years of its rule, TRS party has not delivered its election manifesto promises like double bed room homes, 3 acres of land to Dalits & KG to PG free education and many others. CM KCR was making more promises without having to deliver them on earlier ones makes his promises insincere and unreliable.(NSS)
