TDP polit bureau member Ravula Chandrasekhar Rao today alleged that the TRS government is not bothering about the poor people and it is working in the interests of the rich.
Speaking to media at NTR trust bhavan here, he said the government is purchasing fortune cars and lands for rich people whereas it is fleecing the poor people by increasing power tariff, toll gate fee and VAT on petrol and diesel. The TDP leader wanted to know for whom the TRS government is working.
Taking a dig at KCR government, Ravula said the state government does not belong to a single party and it was like a coalition government because MLAs and former MLAs of other political parties were made ministers in KCR cabinet.
Strongly criticizing the suspension of TDP members from Telangana assembly, the TDP leader said TRS government deliberately acted on this issue and it was afraid that TDP members may embarrass it by raising public issues in the house. It was unfortunate that TRS government did not revoke suspension in spite of written apology, though its members never meted out any disrespect to our national song, he said.(NSS)
