KCR will play a major role in national politics after 2019 polls: TRS MP

In a sensational revelation, TRS MP B. Narasaiah Goud gave clear indications that K. Chandrashekar Rao would move to national politics and he might not be party’s Chief Ministerial candidate.

Addressing a press conference in Assembly premises on Saturday, Narasaiah Goud said that the next Chief Ministerial candidate would be decided by KCR himself. He said that KCR aspires to play an important role in national politics after 2019 elections.

Narasaiah Goud also said that Congress party or Sonia Gandhi had no role in KCR becoming the Chief Minister. He said KCR was elected to the position due to people.

Speaking on demonitisation issue, he said that the TRS has not extended blind support to the note ban and cooperation was given to the Centre in view of long-term benefits to Telangana State. He condemned the Congress party’s ongoing campaign against demonitisation and accused the Congress leaders of misleading the masses. (INN)
