Hyderabad: Former deputy chief minister and TRS leader Kadiam Srihari today said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao-led Federal Front is most likely to come to power at the Centre after the upcoming elections. The BJP and the Congress have no chance of winning majority to come to power and the regional parties will play key role and Federal Front of KCR will take the lead.
KCR has to become Prime Minister after the polls as the BJP and Congress alliances will not get majority of seats to form government. Speaking after the victory of TRS campaigning for polls in Waranagal, Srihari alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was talking in a disparaging manner during his poll campaign in Hyderabad. Modi’s talk of Telugu Film Bahubali and its characters is just downgrading himself, he felt.
Srihari said the entire nation was looking at the model schemes of Telangana State and want to see KCR as future Prime Minister. He said there was no chance for the NDA and UPA alliances to get majority as they failed to deliver. He said that despite less number of seats, leaders like PV Narsimha Rao had become Prime Minister and ruled the country for five years, Srihari said. The nation now needs an efficient leader like KCR to offer innovative rule for all-round development and inclusive growth, Srihari remarked.
Along with one seat by MIM and TRS with 16 MPs, KCR will lead the regional parties through Federal Front, he said, adding that since Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema, pensions and completion of projects are becoming ideal at national level. The people of India are looking towards KCR to steer the nation.
MP Sitharam Nayak, MLA Vinay Bhaskar and others were present.
