KCR will decide on fitment today :HM

If the State Government is planning to offer a favourable fitment of about 37 to 40 per cent to striking RTC workers in Telangana are most likely to resume duties by Tuesday afternoon. Chief Minister K Chandrasekahr Rao is likely to make an announcement on Tuesday followed by a meeting with stake holders.

This was stated by the Cabinet Sub Committee Chairman N Narsimha Reddy. The Committee is learnt to have agreed to offer about 37 to 40 per cent fitment and the chief minister will take a final call. It is likely that KCR may not go back on giving suitable sops to the RTC as it will bifurcate from May 14. Keeping Telangana formation on June 2 in view, the chief minister is likely to announce a favourable decision on fitment on May 12. Nayani said that taking cue from KCR, the officials of finance and RTC officials were directed to work out on the burden in case of increasing the fitment.

Narsimha Reddy is reportedly came to a conclusion that they will settle the issue on Tuesday after a report from the officials on the financial burden if fitment is increased. Nayani who held a press conference along with four other members, hastened to add that CM will take a final call on Tuesday. (NSS)
