TDP leader Revanth Reddy has charged the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao of whipping communal hatred, by creating non-existent issues over the Bayyaram mines and declaring to fight on them.
Talking to the media here on Friday, he said as per the supreme court’s judgment of February this year, no one has any authority to allot Bayyaram mines to any private organizations. He reminded that the central government had acted on the judgment and issued directions to all the state governments. He also said that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was trying to save his own political existence by making a fake promise of a steel plant, despite knowing that it was not possible.
Revanth also demanded that the Chief Minister should take action against Ganta Srinivasa Rao for making provocative remarks on the lines of the cases registered against the MIM MLA akbauddin Owaisi.
Claiming that the Congress High Command had taken the resignations of the Chief Minister and the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana during their recent visit to Delhi, he said the two have been trying to create problems by whipping up regional passions and posing as if they were solving them. He also demanded to know why the Chief Minister had not cancelled allocation of land to Saraswati Cements for which Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was the MD and why he had kept the file pending. (NSS)
