Directing the officials to shun ego and lethargy and speed up themselves to meet the expectations of people by continuing to enjoy their trust, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked them to work in tandem with ministers, MPs and other people’s representatives. KCR warned the officials of serious consequences if they failed to mend their ways and speed up their working style for productive growth of the State.
During a District Development Review at Nizamabad, along with minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, MPs, MLAs, Collector and officials, the Chief Minister said, “Since the new State has received accolades from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking up various welfare and development programs, we need to work with positive energy and rejuvenate strengths to achieve our immediate targets and long-term objectives of the government”, KCR asserted. “Narendra Modi lauded the new government for taking better decisions and coming up with new plans by surpassing initial hurdles, inconveniences and criticism from Opposition parties”, he said. KCR asked them to work in tandem for speedy growth by treading cautiously avoiding wrangles.
The Chief Minister called upon the officials and Ministers to participate in the nation-building activities and toil for speedy progress of the State at home front. “Leaders should not shout at officials, who should spend funds in a cautious manner to ensure schemes reach the people. The government was allotting adequate funds enabling Ministers and Collectors take spontaneous decisions to resolve issues and complete works by spending Rs 25 crore and Rs 10 crore respectively”.
The Chief Minister said Nizamsagar and Singur projects got dried up and environment lost its balance as there were no projects in the district. Now the TRS government was planning to complete Kaleshwaram project to fill Nizamsagar and other water bodies, he said. KCR also explained about the benefits of the flagship programs of Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya, which need special attention of the officials. He asked the officials to complete Mission Bhagiratha works by April end and avoid laying pipelines in farm lands wherein crops are sown. “Our focus is on to overcome drought by a perfect plan and supplying safe waters to every household besides distributing irrigation waters to crops in villages”, KCR stated.
