Elated with victory in the Secunderabad Cantonment Board elections, the TRS top-brass was now planning to sweep the forthcoming GHMC elections.
TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Friday held a crucial meeting of party leaders at Telangana Bhavan here. The CM is focusing on upcoming GHMC elections where the party needs to be strengthened. KCR, who is happy with the party victory in the recent Cantonment Board elections, wants the party to repeat the show in the forthcoming GHMC elections too.
The Chief Minister exhorted the ministers and party leaders to work together for the party’s victory. The CM is preparing an action plan to see pink flag flutter atop the GHMC headquarters. During a meeting with his cabinet colleagues and leaders of the GHMC limits, KCR has discussed on the need for strengthening the party.
Those attended the meeting include, ministers Etela Rajender, T Harish Rao, KT Ramarao, Padma Rao, G Jagadish Reddy, N Narsimha Reddy and others, according to information. (NSS)
