Alleging that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been transforming the Telangana state as a police state, the CPI has demanded the state government to fulfill the assurances given to the people.
After launching the 12th day Deeksha of the unorganized workers belongs to AITUC, CITU, IFTU, TVKS, IFTU demanding the state government to reinstate the shifted Dharna Chowk from Indira Park, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has alleged that the KCR government was suppressing the people, who were taking up movements. The Chief Minister has strengthened the police department by providing all facilities to them. KCR has filled 100 percent vacant posts in the police department though there were lakhs of vacant job posts in other departments.
The Chief Minister was suppressing the people who were questioning the state government through police transforming the state as police state. He said that all sections of the people were discussing about shifting the Dharna Chowk. Lashing out at the KCR, Chada Venkat Reddy said that Dharna Chowk belongs to people not belongs to KCR.
AITUC general secretary V Ratnakar Rao, IFTU general secretary M Srinivas, CITU leader J Venkatesh, IFTU leader K Suryam and AIKMS leader K Achtyutharao were spoke while Telangana State Hamali Workers Federation leader Balraj, Civil Supplies Union leaders Babu Miya, Building Construction Karmika Sangam leader Ratnakar Kosaraju, CITU leader C Rajarao, Telangana School Buildings Construction Karmika Sangam leader Hanmanthu, Telangana Hamali Mill Workers Federation leader LB Ravi Kumar, Anuradha, , Hamali Union leader Swamy, Telangana Unorganised karmika Sangala Samakya leader B Srinivas, District and City leaders of all unions participated in the Dharna.
