Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said all sections of people were showering praises on the ‘Mission Kakathiya’.
Introducing the fifth resolution on Agriculture, Irrigation and Mission Kakathiya at TRS party ’s first plenary after the formation of Telangana State at LB Stadium here on Friday, Harish Rao said the TRS government initiated steps to restore 45,600 lakes and tanks under Mission Kakathiya. He made it clear that the TRS government will complete medium range projects on a war footing and the government has already allocated funds to these projects.
He opined there was need to re-engineer the projects. He said TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao achieved separate Telangana State by taking it as a “do-or-die” issue and now striving to transform Telangana into a ‘Bangaru Telangana’. (NSS)
