Hyderabad, September 20: The senior Congress leader, Mr G. Venkatswamy has alleged that the TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao, has indulged in match-fixing with Seemandhra leaders for the sake of money.
Talking to the media here on Monday, the former Union minister alleged that KCR had taken Rs 7 crores from the media baron, Mr Ramoji Rao.
He said that KCR’s comments on Telangana has caused pain to him. Stating that his comment describing the Seemandhra leader, Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal, as hero hurt the sentiments of every one in Telangana, Mr Venkatswamy said that the souls of those who laid down their lives for Telangana would lament because of his comments.
The “Kaka” said the people of Telangana should at least now understand that Telangana State would not be a reality through KCR. He demanded for a separate Pradesh Congress Committee for the Telangana region.
