Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said he would visit Mothe village in Nizamabad district shortly. Mothe village was the first to adopt a resolution in support of Separate Telangana State.
A delegation comprising Balkonda MLA V Prashant Reddy, Mothe MPP Balraju, village committee president Ganga Reddy and others from Mothe called on the Chief Minister at his camp office on Tuesday and urged him to visit their village. The Chief Minister readily agreed to do so. It may be mentioned here that KCR revived separate State movement from Mothe village in 2001. He returned to the village and thanked the villagers after achieving statehood.
According to a CMO release, the Chief Minister will soon visit the village and have discussions on its overall development. KCR assured the delegation that he would visit Mothe and take up issues of farmers, basic amenities and all-round development of the village. (NSS)
