Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will unveil Water Grid Pylon at Choutuppal in Nalgonda district on June 8. According to information the chief minister will inaugurate the Pylon the symbol of drinking water grid – the flagship program of the government. The State Government has plans to spending a whopping Rs 25,000 cr for the project to provide potable and safe drinking waters to each household in the state. Besides, KCR will address a public meeting at Nagarjuna Degree College grounds in the district headquarters. The Chief Minister will also participate in some developmental programs in the district. Minister for Power G Jagadish Reddy today made a visit to the site and inspected the arrangements for the chief minister’s program. Reddy directed the officials to ensure fool proof security and better arrangements for the event. The Pylon was constructed at a cost of Rs 1.95 cr and will remain a symbol to attract visitors. (NSS)
