KCR to rebuild houses in Bheemrao Bada

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said his government would complete its full term whether Opposition parties like it or not. He also said during the next four years, his government would provide free housing facility to the poor and give pattas to those who have built their houses.

Addressing a meeting at NTR Nagar on the last day of “Swacch Hyderabad” campaign here, KCR announced that his government would construct houses for the poor at Bheemrao Bada near Nampally beside Gandhi Bhavan. Stating that the previous Congress regime felled houses of the poor in the Bheemrao Bada, KCR said his government would restore the houses to the poor by constructing them with better facilities. “If necessary, we will talk to the Congress leaders and offer them an alternative piece of land”, he added.

KCR said they would give priority to provide housing to the poor in the State. Stating that he would visit Victoria Home in Saroonagar soon, KCR said the government would hike salaries of the teachers working in it.

Earlier, KCR visited Kothapet market and Errakunga cemetery after paying a visit to old city. He also said he would visit the old city again to address the problems of the people. Unity of Hindu and Muslim in Hyderabad should become ideal for entire world to emulate, he said, adding that his government would make efforts to protect Hyderabad’s distinct blend of cosmopolitan culture.
