Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will lay a foundation stone for the long pending Palamur Lift Irrigation Project at backward Mahabubnagar district on June 11. The irrigation officials have prepared plans to this effect and arrangements are being made. KCR today held a review meeting along with Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and officials. The meeting focused on the Palamur project which on completion will provide irrigation waters to about 10 lakhs acres in the district. KCR asked the officials to expedite the works of the ongoing projects and take up pending ones. (NSS)
