KCR to talk T issues with PM

Telangana NGO leaders Devi Prasad, Ravinder Reddy and others today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Secretariat here.

They appealed to the Chief Minister to press the Centre on bifurcation of officials. The meeting assumes importance as the Chief Minister is leaving on Friday night to the national capital. During his stay in Delhi, KCR will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other ministers besides participating in a meeting of Chief Ministers of all states. The Chief Minister is likely to take up all key issues with the Prime Minister including officials bifurcation, funds for water grid, lakes restoration, haritha haram, hurdles being created by his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu on power and water and may ask withdrawal of NTR’s name to domestic terminal at Shamshabad International Airport.

KCR is also likely to touch upon share of taxes, allocation of funds to welfare schemes and developmental programs.
