As part of flagship Grama Jyothi program, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today participated in “Clean and Green” drive in Yerravalli village in Medak district.
On the second day of the program at the sleepy village under Jagdevpur mandal, the Chief Minister has swept the roads and removed garbage and trash and shifted the same to a nearby tractor. The Chief Minister also joined the people in lunch at the village. He was seen making rounds of the streets and lanes of the village and vowed to make it a golden village. For this, the people should take active participation, he noted.
The Government, he said, will provide all facilities and village committees have to make use of them to develop their own area, KCR stated. He also appealed to the people to shun negligence on the piling up of garbage as it would lead to spread of viral diseases, which can be prevented by being aware and keep clean their environs. “You should participate voluntarily in the Grama Jyothi program aimed at achieving overall development”, KCR added.
