KCR slams Congress for luring Asaduddin

Hyderabad: TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today slammed the Congress party for allegedly offering to pay Rs 25 lakh to MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi to abstain from campaigning for the TRS in the elections.

Addressing a public meeting in Nirmal, KCR said Asaduddin will not do such things even if the Congress offers Rs 25 crore against the TRS. “The MIM has been supporting the TRS and we hope the Muslim community will vote for us and help retain power”, he said. KCR also turned tables on the Centre alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed on all sectors.

The Modi government has been utter flap and the people are unhappy with his ruling, KCR alleged. If the people vote 17 MPs, including Owaisi from Hyderabad, the next TRS Government, after the polls will press the Centre to concede 12% reservations for the Minorities and STs, he said. The population of the SC, ST and Minorities has increased and there was a need for proportionate increase in the reservations, he said.

The Modi Government ignored our plea of 30 letters in this regard, KCR charged. The TRS regime has made Nirmal a district and developed many mandals with all facilities with focus on welfare and development. On coming to power with the blessings of the people in the polls, the TRS regime will address the issues of the forest lands and other issues. He also said Mission Bhagiratha works for providing safe drinking waters to households in villages are nearing completion and the government will also take up underground drainage works across the State.
