Hyderabad, June 30: Congress Member of Parliament from Karimnagar Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday challenged Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief k Chandrasekhar Rao to provide proof of his statement that the Congress was responsible for the postponement of by-polls to the Sircilla and Vemulawada Assembly constituencies.
Talking to media persons on Wednesday, Mr Prabhakar said that he was willing to provide proof to his statement that the rift between Harish Rao and K Tarakarama Rao was the reason behind the postponement of voting in the two constituencies.
The Congress MP said that he had proof that Mr Harish Rao was behind the filing of petitions in court which led to the by-polls being stopped in the two constituencies.
Mr Prabhakar also challenged Mr Harish Rao to fight the elections from the two seats in Karimnagar district and let KCR’s son KTR fight from the Siddipet constituency.
