KCR sees solar power as an alternative

Telangana Government will soon tide over power crisis, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today informed the House during a debate on new industrial policy in Telangana Assembly.
Stating that the present power crisis will find a solution in one year, he said the government is focusing on alternative measures of encouraging solar energy to address the issue. Solar power production will prove handy as its production does not require much time, he felt. Every effort was being made to get power to cater to agriculture, domestic and industrial needs in the State. The State will get 1000 MW power from Chattisgarh, he added. (NSS)
