Hyderabad: Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was scared of facing unceremonious defeat in the upcoming elections, TPCC spokesperson Indira Shoban here on Friday said the Chief Minister personally went to the residence of former minister and TDP leader Mandava Venkateswar Rao and sought his support for the same.
Addressing mediapersons here on Friday, Indira Shoban alleged that the Election Commission had become a “puppet” in the hands of KCR. Pointing out that the EC had failed to allot symbols to the contesting candidates in the Nizamabad Lok Sabha elections, Indira made it clear that the TRS would not get more than six seats in the elections. She said the electoral verdict in the recent MLC elections was a classic example to the same. She termed the proposed decision of Chief Minister KCR to change the nomenclature of district collector to his feudal mentality.
