Andhra TDP leader Varla Ramaiah today accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of not running the government as per the Constitution.
Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here on Saturday, Varla said phone-tapping of important leaders and officers of AP was unconstitutional as per Articles 19 and 20. He demanded that KCR order an inquiry into the phone tapping as Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy has said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s phone was tapped in connection with Revanth Reddy case. He also accused KCR of not only carrying out phone tapping of the Opposition leaders but also of ruling party MLAs.
The TDP leader also rubbished reports that TDP leaders commented against the Governor. However, Ramaiah asked why the Governor was not taking action when KCR is working unconstitutionally. “The Governor should use Article 356 as KCR was trying to create problems between two Telugu speaking States, he alleged.
