CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has stated that the democracy and social justice have become a question mark in the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule in the state. He alleged that KCR indulged in Gobles and did nothing to the people.
The CPI Poru Bata Yatra reached Balkampet Temple from Medchal district on Thursday morning. The CPI activists welcomed the Yatra on grand note along with hundreds of party activists wore red shirts under the leadership of City Secretary ET Narsimha. Later, they organised bike rally from Balkampet temple to Singareni Colony through Ameerpet, GreenLands, Rasoolpura, Begumpet, Paradise, Balamrao, Bowenpelly, Secunderabad, Seethapalmandi, Osmania University, Amberpet, Moosarambagh, Malakpet and Saidabad.
Speaking on the occasion at Bowenpally Market Yard, Chada said the people have achieved Telangana by waging movement for decades but today in separate Telangana Statethere was no democracy and social justice. “KCR is thinking himself that he is a Thanisha and is not allowing anybody to stage protest programs and not to question him and one has to take what KCR gives”, he lamented. He also questioned KCR to tell whether people achieved separate Telangana to waste the SC, ST sub-plan funds, which come as per Constitution. He alleged that the State government was not implementing sub-plan to BCs and not implementing reservations to Minorities.
He also alleged that the government allocated Rs.1000 crore for the welfare of nomads but there were no rules and regulations prepared yet to spend the amount and yet issued any G.O. in regard to them. The government was confined to statements but not fulfilling the vacant jobs, he alleged and the government filled only 16000 jobs where 2 lakh jobs were vacant. The government was hatching conspiracy to close 400 schools by not filling teacher posts, he pointed out and asked KCR to tell as to what happened to KG to PG scheme. The people were suffering from viral fevers but KCR was praising himself with KCR Kits forgetting the fact that the deliveries were taking place outside the hospitals.
The government failed to complete a single irrigation project in the last three and half years rule but the government brought Rs 1.54 lakh crore debts. KCR was creating new corporations and nominating party men to them to provide political employment. KCR was taking huge loans from Corporate Banks and trying to construct a new Secretariat at Secunderabad. KCR forgot three acre land for daliths, double bed room schemes, he said and the people were given applications in huge numbers.
There was a need to create awareness among the people to wage movement against KCR and as part of it, the CPI has taken up Poru Bata Yatra. The CPI state secretary said the party will participate in “Koluvula Bata’’ program to be organised by TJAC from October 31 onwards.
CPI leaders Palla Venkat Reddy, Adhi Reddy, Pashya Padma, Srinivas Rao, Bala Mallesh, Venkatesham and M Narasimha participated in the program. (NSS
