Hyderabad: General Secretary of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr. Syed Azmatullah Husaini demanded the CM of Telangana, Mr. KCR to return from New Delhi with 12% reservations for Muslims. He expressed his surprise for extending support to presidential candidate by TRS and demanded explanation to clarify whether TRS is an alliance of NDA.
Mr. Husaini further told that Congress supported the bill presented by TRS in the Assembly and Council for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. Now, it is the responsibility of CM to fulfill his promise made to the Muslim. The CM who claims to be secular has been extending his support to BJP and PM at the cost of hurting the sentiments of the Muslim. Extending support to Presidential candidate is different from participation in the nomination process. It is evident that TRS is proving to be an ally of NDA. KCR was the first CM to extend support to NDA for demonetization, GST and Presidential candidate. The man who supported Dalit for President’s post became CM even after promising to make a Dalit CM of Telangana. Even after the lapse of three years of the formation of Telangana State, TRS did not fulfill its promise made to the Muslims. It referred the matter to Center. When CM is extending its full support to BJP and NDA, he should get the approval of the Central Govt. and PM for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. If it does not happen, the Muslims will never forgive KCR and his drama with NDA would cost him heavily.
