Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said the police personnel were playing a pivotal role in protecting lives and assets of the citizens.
On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day on October 21, the Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the police martyrs and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. The Chief Minister recalled that police men are discharging their duties with total commitment at the cost of their lives. He said the society has to give them a fitting tribute by strictly maintaining law and order to further protect the lives and assets of people. The Chief Minister exuded confidence that Police Commemoration Day will inculcate spirit of sacrifice among one and all. (NSS)
