Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Ponnala Lakshmaiah alleged that TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao is raising false hopes among Muslims. He claimed that 80 percent of the TRS tickets are given to anti-Telangana land grabbers and those who did not take part in Telangana movement. He expressed surprise that while promising 12 pc reservations to Muslims, KCR has given only 1 assembly ticket to Muslims.
Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhawan Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President termed TRS election manifesto a farce. He asserted that TRS chief is trying to mislead Telangana Muslims for his political gain, but his dream of becoming CM will never come true.
