Launching his campaign Telugu Desam national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today claimed that the TD regime developed the city and the people should vote for his party and its ally BJP for rapid growth in the civic polls. Naidu addressed a public meeting at Kukatpally and wooed the people of the best amenities if voted to power. Stating that he will be with the people always Naidu said that he is not going away from Hyderabad. I believe the voters will defeat the TRS and the Congress and vote the TD to power for growth he said. Naidu ticked off the TRS government for lacking a vision and attributed the delay in Metro Rail works to its inefficiency. He condemned removal of 26 castes from BC list and said that during his Delhi trip he used to ask the Centre to help develop Telangana. Though as governments we cooperate as political parties we are opposing each other. KCR came to Amaravathi program and I attended Chandi Yagam, he said. The TD began the Metro Rail project and would have completed at the earliest if in power he said. He sought to know whether the previous TD government for 17 years developed Hyderabad and AP. He further claimed of constructing Hitec city, roads widening, bringing Krishna waters to Hyderabad and launching Metro Rail project.
