KCR pays rich tributes to Anjaiah

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the State Government would construct a giant statue of T Anjaiah in Musheerabad area, as a mark of respect to the former Chief Minister.

Speaking after paying floral tributes to T Anjaiah on his death anniversary, KCR also announced that besides naming a park, a university or college would be named after the former Chief Minster. He praised Anjaiah’s role in introducing revolutionary labour reforms in the State. He said T Anjaiah began his career as a worker in Allwyn factory and later became Chief Minster and Union Minister. He also lauded his role in 1969 Telangana movement.

KCR said that introduction of pro-labour reforms and welfare of labour class would be the real tribute to T Anjaiah. He assured that his government would provide health, medical and other benefits to the labour class which had remained neglected during the previous regimes. (INN)
