Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today praised his Finance Minister Etala Rejender for presenting a balanced budget. The budget would definitely improve the living standards of the poor, women and small-time employees.
After presentation of the budget by his Finance Minster in the House on Monday, the Chief Minister said the government allocated major chunk of budget to the uplift of SC, ST and BC sections. He expressed happiness over allocation of huge amounts in the budget to encourage the caste-based professions. The budget would help boost welfare of the poor as well as growth of state economy, he added.
The Chief Minister said the budget was different from the previous ones and was prepared on the basis of ground realities and it will help rural economic growth. “The Finance Minister gave equal priority to all sections. The allocation of funds to execution of works and developmental activities were good enough”, he said. (NSS)
