CM of Telangana Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao convened a review meeting of Metro Rail Officials at Secretariat yesterday and instructed them to change the routes in Sultan Bazar and Mozam Jahi Market areas via Gun Park and Assembly. The officials of Metro Rail informed him that 50% work in these areas has already been completed and at this stage, it may not be possible to change the route. Mr. KCR told them he had made a promise during election campaign that these routes would be changed in order to protect historical monuments. For the convenience of Metro Rail Project such alterations cannot be allowed.
