Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday visited “Nalla Pochamma” temple on the premises of the Secretariat opposite C Block and performed puja.
The temple priests and officials of the Secretariat gave the Chief Minister a traditional welcome. He worshipped the presiding deity and took blessings from the priests on the occasion of the temple’s third anniversary celebrations. The temple was small in size when it was built three years ago and recently at the directive of the Chief Minister the officials expanded its premises illuminated with enticing decoration of lights in myriad colours. KCR prayers assume significance in the wake of his government introducing a first full budget for 2015-16 with a focus on welfare and development. (NSS)
