KCR obstructing BC uplift: VH

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao here on Friday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was obstructing the development of BC community in the State.

Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan today, VH alleged that KCR had decreased the BC reservations from the present 33 percent for Panchayat Raj elections. He wondered
weather 33 percent reservations would be enough for 53 percent of BC population. He demanded that the State government provide 69 percent reservations to the BCs in the State on the lines of Tamil Nadu.
