Alleging that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was least bothered about the farmers, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has demanded the TRS government to aid the farmers lost their crops due to heavy rains in the state.
Uttam visited the fields of the crops affected with the heavy rains in Jadcharla constituency in Mahabubnagar district here on Wednesday. He said that the crop loss in Mahabubnagar was in 3 lakh hectares and asked the government to send the officials to assist the farmers. He demanded the government to send the officials to the villages to asses the crop loss due to heavy rains.
Uttam made it clear that the Congress party will wage fight in democratic manner to do justice to the farmers and till the TRS government opens its eyes. (NSS)
