Panchayat Raj and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today praised his father K Chandrasekhar Rao by stating that the Chief Minister is a Monagadu (a leader with determination) for asserting that the TRS will not ask for votes in the next elections if the government failed to keep its promise of giving safe waters to every household in three years.
KTR was participating in a program of distribution of loans to women under “Stree Nidhi” scheme along with Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, MPs and MLAs at Narayankhed. He said the TRS government will always work in favour of poor and their welfare. Aware of the Asha workers’ problems in the area, the government will address all their issues. KTR said Narayankhed segment will be developed on par with other developed segments.
The TRS government was spending Rs 4,500 crore towards pension for 38 lakh beneficiaries in the State, he claimed. He also said they were implementing Food Security Scheme to offer six kg rice @ Re 1 to every ration card holder. (NSS)
