TRS MLC and spokesman Karne Prabhakar today said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is thinking like great emperor Ashoka, who gave priority for Green expansion.
Addressing the media at TRS LP here, he said that KCR has a plan to plant as many as 40 cr saplings to turn Telangana into Green state. Entire machinery is working on the green drive and people should voluntarily participate in the program to make it a big success. KCR will be launching Harithaharam in Karimnagar on July 12 and the ministers will launch the same in districts he said.
The TRS has emerged the biggest party in the country with enrollment of 70 lakhs of people he said. Prabhakar took a dig at the congress leaders and TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram are trying to confuse people on every issue. Instead of coming in the way of development works they must support the programs for the cause of the people he suggested. The people should recognize that the congress is resorting to misinformation campaign on the government schemes while respect to Kodandaram was reduced for his frequent attempts to tall development works.
The prestigious two bedroom housing scheme will benefit the poor like never before, he said. In every constituency the construction of the houses is going on and about 10000 acres of land was distributed among the Dalits as promised. He slammed Congress MLA Vamshichand Reddy for his comments on the Kalwakurty scheme which was pending for a long time. The TRS Government has completed second and third lift works of this project, he said. (NSS)
