Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today met Union Home Minister Rajnth Singh in Delhi and urged him to allot 141 IPS officers to the State and implement all the issues under Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
KCR called on Rajnath Singh and urged him to expedite the process of High Court division which is a key for speedy delivery of justice among the people of two Telugu States. The Chief Minster also sought steps to increase the number of Assembly segments by bifurcating each Lok Sabha constituency. The Chief Minister also sought environmental clearances and other permissions as the State government decided to laying 330 km roads along Godavari and Pranahitha rivers passing through Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad districts.
Later KCR met Supreme Court Chief Justice T S Thakur and urged him to speed up the division of the High Court in the State. (NSS)
