KCR meets Modi, seeks help for 12% reservation for Muslims besides other issues

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao met Prime Minister, Mr. Modi yesterday in New Delhi. He requested PM to allot polo bison ground land in Secunderabad for the construction of flyover. Besides other issues, Mr. KCR is understood to have requested the PM for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. PM has assured Mr. KCR that this issue would be discussed at the next meeting. CM invited Mr. Modi for International Global Entrepreneurship Summit to be held in November, which Mr. Modi accepted. In this summit, Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump is participating.

CM has also requested him to sanction Rs. 450 crore immediately for the repair of roads and to develop infrastructure in backward districts. He stressed the need for the bifurcation of High Court as early as possible. Mr. Modi assured KCR that all these issues will be considered sympathetically.

Referring to the financial loss on account of implementation of GST, Mr. KCR requested the PM to extend financial help. He also placed before him the issue pertaining to enhancement of Assembly seats.
