(Siasat News) President of TRS Mr. K.Chandrashekar Rao met Panchayat Raj Minister Mr. K. Janareddy yesterday. The meeting of these two leaders before making a representation to the President of India has assumed importance. It is said that both the leaders discussed the draft Telangana bill. Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mr. Basawaraj Sariya, Ministers were also present in the meeting. It was decided to point out objectionable clauses and proposed amendments to T-Bill during the discussion in the Assembly. Mr. KCR apprised Mr. Janareddy the suggestion to be made to President of India. In the meeting it was decided to formulate a common strategy in Assembly rising about party level to support T-Bill. Observing the continuous hurdles created by Seema Andhra leaders, Telangana leaders have also decided to express their views through written affidavits.
The meeting between KCR and Mr. Janareddy took place after a long time. Mr. KCR told that TRS is opposed to giving Law and orders powers to Governor, distribution of Assets, Education, distribution of state Govt. employees etc.
Talking to newsmen later Mr. Janareddy and Mr. KCR that despite different political parties, the cause is common which is to get separate Telangana state. They told that draft bill of Telangana does not contain the suggestion made by GOM. Mr. KCR told that after making appropriate amendments, T-Bill should be presented in the Parliament. Mr. Janareddy told that till T-Bill is passed in the Parliament all the political parties supporting the cause of Telangana should be united. He told that if draft T-Bill is passed in Parliament in the present shape, it will be a loss to Telangana. Mr. KCR told that before the Assembly and Council session, another meeting of MLA’s and MLC’s will be held to formulate a common strategy. He suggested that Seema Andhra leaders should present their demands for the development of Seema Andhra region. They should not create hurdles in the discussions on T-Bill.
