KCR meets Guv after budget session

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here. After giving his power point presentation on irrigation projects, the Chief Minister drove to Raj Bhavan.

KCR is learnt to have apprised the Governor of the 16 days long budget session of Assembly that passed various bills, including Appropriation Bill of Rs 1.30 lakh crore. He also said to have informed the Governor about his presentation to the House on the irrigation projects and plans to complete the projects to irrigate one crore acres to make Telangana a green state.

The Governor reportedly expressed satisfaction on the budget session. The Governor advised KCR to speed up the irrigation projects, focus on other flagship programs like Education, health and welfare. (NSS)
