KCR meets BJP MLAs, TS Governor

Hyderabad: Immediately after his return from New Delhi, Mr. KCR commissioned BJP MLAs to Pragati Bhavan and convened an emergency meeting. CM also met the Governor of AP and TS, Mr. ESL Narasimhan. After meeting the Governor, 11 IAS Officers were shifted from their present positions.

Rumors are making rounds when Mr. KCR commissioned three BJP MLAs, namely, Dr. Lakshman, Mr. Kishan Reddy and Mr. NVS Prabhakar. He convened this meeting immediately after coming back from New Delhi after meeting PM Modi. This meeting has assumed importance since a day before, Congress MLA, Mr. Revanth Reddy had claimed that TRS would forge an alliance with MIM for Assembly and BJP for Parliamentary Elections.

Sources of CMO are giving an impression that the meeting of BJP MLAs is only a routine one but the authentic sources revealed that BJP MLAs were informed what transpired between Modi and KCR in New Delhi.

Political Analysts opine that if Assembly and Parliament Elections are held separately, both TRS and BJP would benefit. It is learnt that after getting clear signal from KCR, BJP leaders convened a meeting of their core committee in the evening and discussed the election strategy.

Reliable sources indicated that TRS will contest in a friendly manner with MIM and the same strategy would be followed while contesting with BJP. This clearly means that TRS will not float any strong leaders against both the parties. After the meeting with BJP, its members criticized both TRS and MIM which is being termed as a political strategy.

CM of TS, Mr. KCR also called on the Governor which has assumed greater importance. It is learnt that CM apprised the governor of his negotiations held in Delhi with the Central leaders.

CM is believed to have thanked PM for the approval given by him to the zonal system.

In the wake of the rumours, transfers of 10 collectors have taken place. The transfer cases of a few SCs and Police Commissioners are in the pipeline.

Congress party is also convening a meeting of its members next month to select the probable candidates for elections. It will also consider coalition with other parties.

It is reported that TRS is making an attempt to make the public meeting scheduled to be held on 2nd September a grand success.
