Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao grabbed the attention of people by walking away from the Parade Grounds where the Republic Day celebrations were held on Monday before the completion of the function.
Soon after Governor Narasimhan read his 16-page Republic Day address, KCR walked away and his cabinet colleagues accompanied him till the convoy. Normal practice is that CM must reaches the venu before the Guv arrives and leave the Venu only after the Governor seen off .What made everyone take notice of this is that the Chief Minister left even before the National Anthem was played.
Cultural Performances in Telangana Republic Day parade were called off due to the delay in Governor’s arrival. As Guv had gone participate in AP’s Republic Day parade at Vijayawada and returned Begumpet through a helicopter to be present at Parade Ground.
