KCR leaves House in raptures; wants to have lunch at Jana Reddy’s home

Winter session of Telangana Assembly today witnessed some hilarious moments when Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao spoke his mid stating that he will go to Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy’s home to join him for lunch.

During a discussion on housing scheme, KCR said he has unfulfilled wish to visit Jana Reddy’s home and join him for lunch. “I still plan to visit the house of Leader of the Opposition and will take Dal Rice or Pulusu whatever Jana Reddy serves”, he quipped leaving the House into raptures. “Indeed, I have been thinking to do so and had to disrupt the idea as there was by-election.

There was a good custom in the State that chief minister used to visit the house of Leader of the Opposition for lunch. I have seen that then chief minister Damodaram Sanjeevaiah made a visit to Putchalapalli Sundaraiah’s house in the Old MLA Quarters and I want to replicate it”, he said. It is to be seen whether Jana Reddy will invite KCR for the lunch in the near future. (NSS)
