Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will leave for Mumbai on Monday where he will sign an agreement with his Maharashtra counterpart Devender Fadnavis on construction of five barrages.
Accompanied with Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao and senior officials, KCR will leave for Mumbai at 10.45 AM on Monday. They will reach Maharashtra Raj Bhavan at about 1 PM where KCR will do a night halt.
On March 8, the officials of both the States will sign will sign the pact on construction of five barrages on Godavari, Pranahita and Penganga Rivers in the presence of both the Chief Ministers. KCR will then attend the lunch hosted by Maharashtra Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan at 12.10 PM. He will return to Hyderabad at 2 PM. (INN)
