Assuring that the Telangana State Government will extend full cooperation, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao wished the Hyderabad Exhibition Society develop like Pragathi Maidan and earn more money by organising exhibitions on huge level.
Inaugurating Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Pharmacy Maha Vidyalaya new building at Tarnaka here on Sunday, KCR said the Society was sincerely doing its best and the new building is a witness to its service program. It is not easy to extend sincere services at a time when people thinking in selfish manner, he said, adding the Society was collecting only government prescribed fees and extending quality education to the students.
Stating that the society has great history, the Chief Minister said it started as a modest scale during erstwhile Nizam period at Public Garden. Later, the then Nizam gifted the present premises (Exhibition grounds) land recognising the services of the society. He exuded confidence that the Society would continue to render good services in future.
Later, the Chief Minister felicitated Granules India chairman and managing director C Krishnaprasad and Biological Evans Ltd executive director Dr Renuka Datla for their outstanding services. Exhibition Society president and Finance Minister Etela Rajender, Education Minister G Jagadeesh Reddy, Bhongir MP B Narsaiah Goud and former MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy were present. (NSS)
