KCR lambasts Naidu for backing out on No-trust motion

The TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has lambasted the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu for deciding not to support the no-confidence motion. He also lashed out at the ‘Andhra Jyothi’ newspaper for publishing a report that the no-confidence motion was lost even before it was moved. He said no one could do anything about Naidu if he feels like wiping his face clean when spat at.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, he said he was surprised that Naidu took a decision not to support the no-confidence motion. Alleging that Naidu had already entered into a dark agreement with the union minister Chidambaram, KCR wondered if he also took some kickbacks from the Chief Minister for saving the state government. He said the real face of Naidu became known to the people, because of this decision.

Reminding that Naidu was talking without culture, he said why he was not moving the no-confidence motion if all the charges he was making against the Congress were true. He said Chandrababu owed an explanation to the people on why he was trying to save the Congress government. He also questioned if it mattered who moved the no-confidence motion, when there was a chance to dislodge the government.

He said Chandrababu was committing a historical blunder by not extending support to the no-confidence motion. He said if Naidu did not change his mind and join hands with them, he would be washed off in the Ganges, with no one to save.

He sarcastically said that while Naidu was slapping his thighs challenging the government during his pada yatra, he was running away when it actually came to dislodging the government. Referring to the criticism of Naidu that he was not consulted, KCR said he had announced his decision in a media conference and had written letters to all the leaders, before actually moving the no-confidence motion. Stating that this was the meanest of decisions taken by the TDP, he said even NTR’s soul would be in anguish because of the decision.

KCR also lashed out at the Andhra Jyothi newspaper for writing that the no-confidence motion was lost even before it was moved. Reminding that even the TDP’s motion earlier was lost, KCR said the purpose of a no-trust motion was to discuss the failures of the government and the government would fall if things turn favourable. He said Andhra Jyothi should think if it was proper to heckle the effort.
