Hyderabad: KCR kits scheme got excellence award. Dr. Lakshma Reddy, Health Minister of TS expressed his delight for this award. Dy. CM of TS, Mr. Kadiyam Srihari presented this award to the officials of Health Dept. in a ceremony held in Hyderabad on 21st May.
It may be mentioned that many Central and State Ministers applauded this scheme.
Mr. Srihari told that this scheme was launched due to the farsightedness of Mr. KCR.
It may be mentioned that Mr. KCR had launched this scheme on 3rd June 2017 at Govt. Maternity Hospital, Petlabruj. With the implementation of this scheme, the self-confidence of pregnant women increased. The ratio of deliveries in Govt. hospitals used to be 30% earlier which has now increased to 50%.
Mr. Srihari gave these awards to IAS officers of the Dept. at a function.
