Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who attended his AP counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s swearing-in ceremony in Vijayawada in the afternoon returned home this evening.
After the swearing-in of Jagan Mohan Reddy as second Chief Minister of residual Andhra Pradesh in the afternoon, KCR, accompanied by DMK chief Stalin went to Jagan’s residence at Tadepalli and participated in the lunch.
Though KCR has scheduled to visit Delhi this evening to attend the swearing-in of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for second consecutive term, the Telangana Chief Minister could not make the trip as Civil Aviation Ministry has taken a decision to not allow any flights arriving in Delhi from 3 pm to 11 pm for security reasons. With this, the scheduled visit of both the Chief Ministers of Telugu States to Delhi remained cancelled.
